Counter-Notification Procedure

Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to our services and terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
Process and Timing
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the content provider or user that we have removed or disabled access to the material
- Provide the content provider or user with a copy of the DMCA notice
- Terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the complaining party and reinstate the material in question after 10 business days unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider.
Misrepresentations
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability. We may seek damages from any party that submits a notification or counter-notification in violation of the law.
Educational Content and Fair Use
As an online educational platform, certain content on our services may be protected under fair use provisions or other exceptions to copyright law. We encourage users to consider fair use principles when submitting DMCA notices. However, fair use determinations are made on a case-by-case basis and do not automatically exempt content from DMCA procedures.
User Responsibilities
Users of our platform are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, permissions, or licenses for any content they upload, share, or distribute through our services. Users should not:
- Upload, post, or share copyrighted material without authorization
- Circumvent technological measures designed to protect copyrighted works
- Remove or alter copyright management information
- Claim ownership of content created by others
International Considerations
While this policy is based on the DMCA, we respect intellectual property rights globally. If you are located outside the jurisdiction where DMCA applies, we will still consider valid copyright infringement claims submitted in accordance with this policy or applicable local laws.
Modifications to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
